HELP TO PROTECT YOUR FAMILY

On Sunday 9 July 10.30am – 3.00pm, Bexhill Lions will be

at the Rother BeActive day offering bottles of Ladival sun lotion SFP30 or SFP50+ for a minimum charitable donation of just £3.00. The bottles have a rrp of £20 and are provided by the Myfanway Townsend Melanoma Research Fund. All the money donated will go to help the research programme. Information leaflets will be provided to accompany the product to ensure people are getting the right advice.

Bexhill Lions Club is sponsoring a FREE Melanoma and skin check clinic in The Studio at the DLWP. The Myfanway Townsend Melanoma Research Fund raises awareness and funds research into Melanoma and skin cancers.

Melanoma is not only the most deadly type of cancer of the skin but also the hardest to detect. If it is recognised and treated early, it is nearly 100% curable. If not, the cancer can advance and spread to other parts of the body where it becomes hard to treat and can be fatal.

A third of all cases of Melanoma occur in people under 55. More than two adults(15-34) are diagnosed every day.
