Members of Bexhill Lions Club will be out and about on Friday and Saturday collecting for the BBC “Children in Need” appeal.

Friday morning rail commuters will be greeted by “Roary” the Club mascot and friends. On Saturday morning there will be collections in Bexhill Town Centre, outside LIDL in Sidley and also in Little Common. If you are walking along the promenade, say hello to “Roary” if you see him.

Collections organiser Tony Sharp commented “This is a great cause which we have supported for a number of years. Bexhill residents have always been generous with their donations and we hope to have a record breaking year. All money donated will be sent to the BBC appeal”.
