Following a request for support from the Sara Lee Trust, the Bexhill Lions Club was pleased to help out with a donation of £1,000. Funding was needed to further enhance the privacy in the counselling and complementary therapy rooms at the Therapy Centre in Sidley.
The annual Christmas Appeal by Bexhill Lions Club was a great success raising over £6,300 which will be used to support local good causes.

Festive Santas dash along the Prom
The weather was kind to the Santas on Sunday, as around 200 people helped to turn the Promenade a festive red and white. Families together, babes in pushchairs, sons on father’s shoulders and Air Cadets all helped to make it a fun community start to the Christmas season.

Bexhill Lions Club is supporting the Bexhill Skatepark Action Group (BSAG) by providing financial and practical support. Sue Cassell who heads up the Youth committee said “We are committed to supporting youth activities in Bexhill and having seen a press report about the state of the existing skatepark site we decided we wanted to help….
Members of Bexhill Lions Club will be out and about on Friday and Saturday collecting for the BBC “Children in Need” appeal.
Friday morning rail commuters will be greeted by “Roary” the Club mascot and friends. On Saturday morning there will be collections in Bexhill Town Centre, outside LIDL in Sidley and also in Little Common….
