Bexhill Lions Club will be providing marshals on Sunday 8th November for the annual Parade and Service of Remembrance.

Lion Richard Winrow said ” Our aim is to ensure the safe and smooth running of this annual event with minimum disruption to the general public, through rolling road closures. We apologise for the short delays that will occur and look  forward to the support, cooperation and understanding of the public.”

For the duration of the Parade, Marina will be closed from the junction with Brassey Rd to the junction with Devonshire Road and Sea Road will be closed  southbound at the junction with St Leonards Rd.

The Parade will form up at 10.10 am in Devonshire Square and depart for the War Memorial. When the Parade reaches Marina traffic will be able to use the roads leading down Devonshire Road.

After the service, at approximately 11.20am, the Parade will march along Marina towards DLWP and travel along Sackville Rd and under the bridge to the parking area of the Town Hall where it will disperse.

Traffic will be held at junctions en route to allow the Parade to proceed.

Our Tributes:

On behalf of the Club, wreaths will be laid by Lion President Paul Fleming and  Lion Amanda Baldwin at the services in Bexhill and Little Common.
